Another fantastic weekend for our South Oxford Storm teams.
Special shout out to U10A Ward's Automotive & U13A Morse Electric! Both teams went undefeated during the 4 round robin games. An unfortunate end in the semi's with both teams not moving past the semi-finals.
Join us in congratulating both U12A Inovata Foods & U15A George Burnett for their tremendous output and bringing home the GOLD!
U12A - Inovata Foods
This was the first tournament for the team and learning to gel together as a team. They battled all weekend with wins, losses and a tie. They won the semifinal game in overtime 3-2 and then came out with a 5-1 win in the finals against West Niagara Flying Aces.

U15A - George Burnett Ltd
The George Burnett Ltd U15 Rep A team had an outstanding showing at the St. Catharines Early Bird Tournament over the weekend. Friday's games brought a 3-0 win against the Halton Hills Thunder and a disappointing 6-1 loss against the Nepean Raiders. Determined to make the semis, the boys fought back hard on Saturday beating the Hespeler Shamrocks 7-2 and then the Glancaster Bombers 6-0! These wins secured their second place finish in pool B which allowed a cross over semi final game with pool A's first place London Mustangs Purple. The boys shut down London with a 4-2 win sending them into the Championship game against the Guelph Gryphon's where a 5-1 victory was claimed!
The team has set the tone for the season and we are thrilled with their first accomplishment as the newly formed South Oxford Storm!
