Coaching Applications Now Open for the 2026-2027 Season!
Coaches are the heart and soul of South Oxford Minor Hockey. Their dedication, passion, and commitment are what make our hockey community strong and vibrant. Every practice, game, and mentorship moment shapes the players we’re proud to see grow on and off the ice. Our association wouldn’t be what it is today without the incredible volunteers who give their time and energy.
To support our coaches, SOMH provided LiveBarn access to all head coaches in 2025/26, and we’re excited to continue this for the 2026/27 season. We’re also adding a practice and drill planning app to help head coaches collaborate, share ideas, and make every practice impactful.
A note for parent coaches applying directly to a B team: this does not affect your child’s ability to make an A team. Given the tight timing between A & B tryouts, we need to begin the process for both now.
We’re looking for volunteers returning to the bench and new coaches ready to make a difference in the lives of our youth. If you’re passionate about hockey and our community, we want to hear from you!
