Final game of the regular season
Last night the South Oxford 3E Power U18 Storm played their last game of the regular when they hosted the St. Thomas Jr Stars at the barn in Ingersoll.
The stars started off scoring in the first couple of minutes of the game. The boys answered twice later in the period when Quinn Lessif tied the game. Cale Arvai had the assist on the goal. Josh Robles then helped the boys take the lead with an unassisted goal.
In the second, the flood gates opened as the boys scored five times taking a 7-3 lead. Noa Black scored with Liam Nunn and Chase McCallum getting the assist. Chase McCallum scored with Liam Nunn getting the helper, Josh Robles with his second of the game with Quinn Lessif and Cale Arvai. Liam Nunn joined the party with Chase McCallum and Nate Crane getting assists and finally Josh Robles had the hat trick with Johnny Lamers getting the helper.
In the final frame, the boys had a comfortable lead but Chase McCallum would add one more making the final 8-4. Riley Vyse and Jaxon Pinard combined for the victory as the boys head into the playoffs next week.
