Let the playoffs begin!!!
Last night the South Oxford 3E Power U18 Storm started their playoffs by hosting the Strathroy Jr. Rockets at the storm shelter in Tillsonburg.

The boys locked up third place after the regular season and were hoping to start the playoffs on the right foot. In the first period the boys started off quickly when Noa Black found a loose puck and went in alone, picking the top corner giving the boys the early lead. Midway through the period, the boys went to the power play and Quinn Lessif shot the puck from a weird angle and it found the back of the net. Josh Robles and Cale Arvai had the assist on the goals.

In the second, the boys fell asleep and the Rockets scored a shorty cutting the lead in half. A few minutes later, they tied the game putting the boys on their heels. Jaxon Pinard did his part to keep the game tied going into the third.

In the third, the boys woke up from their second period nap and exploded for three, putting the game out of hand. Quinn Lessif opened the scoring with Cale Arvai and Johnny Lamers getting the assists on the goal. Liam Nunn scored less then a minute later with Noa Black getting the helper. Liam Nunn would add his second of the game with Noa Black and Chase McCallum getting the assists. All three goals were on the power play. Jaxon Pinard then shut the door with the help of the defense leading the boys to the 5-2 victory.

The South Oxford 3E Power U18 Storm head to Mt Brydges on Saturday afternoon to continue their playoff run.
Good luck boys.
