Celebrating a victory and the graduating class
Last night, the South Oxford 3E Power U18 Storm played the Mt Brydges Cougars in a pivotal and emotional game for both the players and parents.

South Oxford minor hockey celebrated the players who may be playing their last season of minor hockey in Tillsonburg and Ingersoll while trying to clinch a birth into the Shamrock league semi finals and a step closer to the OMHA championships.

In the first period, the boys looked like they were still in awe of the celebration as Mt Brydges scored twice in the first period putting the boys into a early hole.

After a heated pep talk by coach Bill, the boys woke up scoring two of their own evening he score. Quinn Lessif scored first with Cale Arvai and Nate Crane getting the assist on the goal. It only took seventeen seconds later as Cale Arvai scored a beauty, evening the score with Quinn Lessif and Ethan Crosset getting the helpers.

In the final frame, the boys put the pressure on and it paid off when Johnny Lamers found a rebound and buried his shot. Quinn Lessif and Nate Crane had the helpers. Quinn Lessif rounded out a great game by scoring his second. Cale Arvai and Kolten Winkworth had the assists on the goal. The boys then went into shut down mode as Jaxon Pinard and the defense led the team to the 4-2 victory. With the win, the South Oxford 3E Power U18 Storm and St. Mary's Rock will play for first place on Thursday night in St Mary's
