Battle for first
Last night, the South Oxford 3E Power U18 Storm played their final round robin playoff game in St. Mary's against the Rock.

Last nights game would determine first place and second place as both teams head into the semi finals in the Shamrock league.

In the first period, both teams were trying to get the all important first goal of the game and unfortunately that went to the Rock. The boys tried to even the score and had plenty of chances but had nothing to show for it.

In the middle frame, with the boys down one, they were working hard but the netminder was up to the task. The score remained 1-0 as the period came to an end.

In the final frame, the boys tried hard but St. Mary's went into shut down mode and didn't allow the boys to even the score. The final score was 1-0.

With the loss, the boys ended up in second place and look to play the St. Thomas Jr. Stars in the semifinals. The series will not start until March 15th at the earliest. Please keep an eye on the updated calendar for the schedule.

Good luck to the South Oxford 3E Power U18 as they continue their quest to the OMHA championships.
