Important game in Mt. Brydges
The South Oxford U16 BrokerLink Storm headed to Mt. Brydges for an important game against the Cougars.

It was a typical physical playoff style game with both teams trying to establish their dominance on one another.  Late in the first, the boys opened the scoring when Eli North to a feed from Jeremy Stiles and broke the scoreless draw.

There was much more action in the second with five goals scored between both teams and a parade to the penalty box.  The boys added to the lead with the captain Cole Shoup and Noa Black scoring.  Liam Nunn and Ethan Kish had assists on the goals.  Mt. Brydges would score back to back to make it a game with the boys leading 3-2 going into the final frame.

In the the third, it was the Eli North show as he scored three more in the period.  They were all unassisted goals and Jaxon Pinard lead the team to the 7-4 victory.  With the victory, the South Oxford U16 BrokerLink Storm were only one win away from clinching a spot in the Shamrock championship series, but they would have a huge test Sunday afternoon in Strathroy.
