Championship series game 2
On Wednesday night the South Oxford U16 BrokerLink Storm travelled to St. Mary's to try and stay alive in their championship series.

It was do or die for the boys and they needed to find a away to keep this series going.  In the first period both teams tried to get the all important first goal.  That came from Noa Black late in the period.  Cole Shoup's shot was beautifully tipped giving the boys the lead heading into the second period.

In the second, St. Mary's picked the pace up and it hurt the boys on the scoreboard.  The Rock scored twice and once on the powerplay.  The boys had trouble handling the pace that St. Mary's had during that period and needed to regroup for the third.

In the third, the boys were sending everything towards the Rock net and it finally paid off with just over five minutes remaining.  Noa Black took a shot from a sharp angle and it found the back of the net much to the delight of the players and their fans.  Adam Cvitkovic had the assist on the goal. With the game tied, the boys had all the momentum and with just over three minutes remaining Brody Huitema sniped and took the lead.  Noa Black had the assist on the goal.  The boys went into shut down mode and Riley Vyse was spectacular leading the boys to the 3-2 victory.

Game three would be back at the barn in Ingersoll on Thursday night at 8PM
